Taunton resident Kevin Brown has set off in his journey to walk 300 miles in 10 days to raise money for the charity Hope for Tomorrow.
His challenge sees him walk more than 10 marathons back to back, carrying everything he needs on his back; tent, food and even his spare pants!
His trek began in Penzance and he will walk all the way home along the south west coastal path to near Taunton in Somerset.
With nearly 60,000 feet of ascent and averaging 30 miles per day, this is a challenge not to be taken lightly.
Kevin loves the great outdoors whether it be hiking, bushcraft or a sense of adventure. He has his own Youtube channel as ‘Outdoorsy Kevin’ and documents his treks as he lives off the land and enjoys the wonders of nature.

Over the past few years two of his family members have received a Cancer diagnosis, as unfortunately some of us may in our lifetimes. For this reason he have chosen the charity Hope for Tomorrow. They provide mobile treatment vehicles up and down the country, allowing patients like his grandmother to receive life saving treatment close to home.
Cancer treatment causes sheer fatigue, it’s like someone has taken your batteries out. When you’re faced with a cancer diagnosis, time is crucial. How can people spend more time doing the things they love, with those they love, whilst still getting the life-saving treatment they need?
Hope for Tomorrow build and maintain mobile cancer care units, which change the lives of thousands of people suffering from cancer in England.
Can you help Kevin drive cancer care forward?
