Description
We are an amateur choir with around sixty members, who rehearse in Alcombe, Minehead, on Tuesday evenings in the spring and autumn, with concerts in Minehead at Christmas and Easter. We have a wide repertoire including some of the best known classical choral works such as Messiah, selections of choral Classics and Opera choruses, through to more modern composers such as Karl Jenkins and Sir Andrew Lloyd- Webber. Membership is currently [2024] £ 80 per year, and is open to anyone who can sing in tune. Being able to read music is a help but not essential. We are always happy for new members to come for a couple of rehearsals as a trial to see if they like us, before they commit themselves to membership.
